My name is Dr. TJ, and I am the founder of Pilgrim Health - the first virtual primary care platform in the Philippines.

I am a medical doctor and health equity advocate, with more than 10 years of leadership experience in community medicine, public health, and social entrepreneurship.

In my practice, I have witnessed how broken the health care system is in the Philippines. Even after the passing of the Universal Health Care law in 2019, millions of Filipinos are still being left behind.

We need to do more - but not just more of the same. We need to find different ways of of financing and delivering health care services
